Default Good Friends

Hello This May Be A Strange Subject To Place On Here But I Believe That All Losses In Our Lives Have A Marked Effect On Us And So Wanted To Write A Point Of View.

Friendships Are So Very Special, We Can Be Ourselves With Them And Say What We Feel Without Causing Offence, When We Are Going Through Situations Beyond Us More Often Than Not Our Friends Are There For Us Even More Than Our Own Flesh And Blood, Yes This World Needs More Friends.

Friendships Need Care, Love And Nurture Just As All Relationships Do, So What Do We Do When For Some Reason We Upset Or Hurt That Friend That Is So Impportant To Us And No Words Of Sorrow Seem To Reach Their Hearts, Well, All We Can Do Is Admit Our Wrong, Ask For Their Forgiveness And Then Quietly Move On In The Hope That Forgiveness Will Come, Then The Friendship Be Restored.

Losing A Much Loved And Appreciated Friend Is Indeed Another Loss So May We All Love, Appreciate And Care For Our Friends And May These Friendships Be Everlasting.

Thank You

Chrissie.

Dear Chrissie - thank you for sharing your words of wisdom about friendship with us. I would like to add the following:

Thank you, Great Spirit, Father/Mother of all life
For the gift of every one of our relationships.
Dwelling in the conscious awareness of our oneness
With You and the whole of Your Creation,
Help us to lift each one of our relationships,
Especially the most difficult ones,
Onto ever higher levels of
Friendship and total and unconditional love,
So that we may become ever more like You.

In the name of love we ask this.
Amen

From ‘Who Is A Truly Caring Friend?’
