Default Is taking time for myself wrong?

My daughterís dad died in a motorcycle accident on the 16th. I have pushed my feelings aside in order to be strong for her. Now it is more than a week later and I decided to visit my friend. My daughter wanted me to go to lunch with her and my mom and dad, but I just didnít feel up to it.
Is it wrong for me to take a day for myself? I have felt so suffocated. I havenít had any time to mourn. Should I feel guilty?
