May be because in this case one will think that not proper care was given to parent. But one should not think like this.

Default my thoughts.

i just lost my dad 3 months ago and i was his main care giver he fought a long 3 year battle of cancer that was spread all through out his body. he had a colonoscopy bag and 2 nephrostomy tubes. While i was taking care of him i was also a full time high school student and had a part time job. After he passed away i did feel guilty for many different things. I felt guilty because of how much he suffered and i felt like i didn't do enough. Its hard to think about it and how he's not here anymore.
This may not totally answer the question but i thought i would just put out my experience and how i felt.

Shalom in Yeshua cbear94, I am sorry for the loss of your dad and how it has made you feel. This thread is a couple of years old now, so may I suggest that you start a new thread and tell us more about your dad.

May God bless you
