Dear Gumek - thank you for sharing your prayer with us. It reminds me of:

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept
The things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

There is also a less well known, but equally beautiful part:

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as the legend of Jesus showed us, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would like it to be.
Trusting that God will make all things right,
If I but surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely so with Him, forever in the world of light
On the higher and highest levels of life.

Our world is bound in darkness, until we shine the light;
You, with your own vision – and I, with my insight.
