Default Torn apart

My nephew was killed in 2003 his 21st would be 23 Jan this year.

We have to take his grandfathers ashes to Ireland on the 22nd and will not be back till the 26th.

This is causing rifts between brother and sister and sister and sister.

I am normally good at giving advice but cannot see any real answer to this.

The delay in taking the ashes has already caused ructions from the ~Irish contigent of our family, but it was the only time the majority of the family could agree on.

I'm sorry for what you are going through Paulmot. I am no stranger to family problems, since my mother's death and it really stinks and causes more pain. I know it is important to you to bring his ashes home and the delay is beyond frustrating, I can imagine. People and family don't seem to share the importance of what we think or what is of value or priority to us. Sending warm understanding hugs your way.

Thatís a difficult one, trying to be in two places at once. I have experienced something similar. We finally agreed that everyone should do what they felt the most strongly about with no come backs and no regrets. Thankfully everything worked out just fine.
