I am sorry to hear about your struggling. I struggle with being overweight too and the biggest thing isn't diet - it's exercise. Not only will you lose weight from the activity, it makes you less hungry and gets you out of the house (away from snacks).

I had heart-related health problems a few years back, and at the time, I could not get a diagnosis. I got short of breath easily, and I had to give up so many things I enjoyed. Plus, I always a low-grade sense of fear about what was going on in my body. I do understand the sense of loss. Life goes on all around you, yet you feel like you don't have the life you want anymore. I did eventually find a lot of less active things to do, which helped tremendously. In my case, there was a happy resolution. I pray you will have a similar outcome!
