![]() I had found this book a while back it was published in 2004 . I found it insightful and has helped me in the past. I had picked it back up a little while ago and started to re-read it. I think the second time I re-read it the words stuck as it rings with truths... This author has suffered through great loss himself and speaks truthfully from his heart in this book. I think that is the pivot point in his writings. He has walked the walk we all share here...
The book itself shows the depths of sorrow, whether due to illness, divorce, or the loss of someone we love. The circumstances are not important; what we do with those circumstances is. In coming to the end of ourselves, we can come to the beginning of a new life―one marked by spiritual depth, joy, compassion, and a deeper appreciation of simple blessings. Feel free to check it out. Depending on where you are in your journey... this may help you immensely. A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows through Loss by Jerry L. Sittser (Author) As always.... I wish you peace and a level path on your journey Dave( AKA CAL821 )

Memory can only tell us what we were, in the company of those we loved; it cannot help us find what each of us, alone, must now become. Yet no person is really alone; those who live no more echo still within our thoughts and words, and what they did has become woven into what we are. I wish you peace and a level path on your journey... Cal821 |
